While there's nothing quite as iconic as that, I'm here to offer you something a bit more modern and unique: a cinematic story-telling family session. Family photos in 2025 don't need to feel awkward. My goal is to make them look and feel like a scene from a movie - cinematic and a little glimpse into your family lives. My approach is all storytelling-based. I don't want to capture what your family looks like at this time - I want to see the little quirks, I want to capture who you ARE in this moment, and show glimpses of that like stills in a movie. Traditional family portraits generally have one formula: line everyone up and paste on a smile. While there isn't anything technically wrong with this, in the moment it doesn't always feel right, either. It doesn't say anything about you and your family as a whole. There's a reason why San Diego is rated as one of the best places to live by so many magazines and ratings - at every turn it offers backdrops that look like they belong in a feature film. From the dreamy cliffs at Torrey Pines to the coastal charm of La Jolla or Coronado Beach, the entire county is a giant movie set.

As your photographer, I will never stick you in front of the ocean and just tell you to smile. I will guide you into movement and laughter and natural interactions that unfold like movie scenes.
