My Approach
My goal with every gallery is to fill it full with moments that you didn't even know happened, and memories where you didn't even know that I was there. That is how I narrate your love story.
I approach wedding with a removed mindset - which can also be described as documentary or candid-focused. I prefer to be a fly on the wall during your big day - in fact, I don't want you to really notice me at all during big moments such as your ceremony and reception. I focus on storytelling, movement, emotion, and atmosphere - and encapsulating all of that with my camera. I believe weddings should be lived-in and not performative for the camera. I step in when direction is helpful but step away when things are unfolding naturally.
As I'm a cinematic-style photographer, a lot of my shots are very inspired by movies and films. I like to play with lighting and composition and colors through editing. I pay attention to the way light moves through a space, how a room feels before a moment happens, and the subtle interactions between people. These details are what turn photographs into memories.
Once booked, I am available to answer questions, offer insight and help you think through how photography fits into your day. I provide timeline guidance based on lighting and real-world experience. I prioritize ensuring that you are fully present your day and that your wedding doesn’t feel like a photoshoot.
On your wedding day I will arrive early to scope out the scene. From there I’ll guide you when direction is helpful, particularly during portraits, but document every other moment without interrupting them.
You won’t need to worry about posing yourself when it comes to portraits- I will handle all of that!
I pride myself in being a steady presence, especially since weddings can be emotional and fast-paced. I know when to act quickly and when to slow things down, which allows you both to simply be fully present with each other (the most important part!)
Above all, I fully respect that this is your wedding day - not a photo opp or a check list. I won’t pull you away from meaningful moments or ask you to recreate something that already happened. My focus is telling your story honestly and giving you your memories precisely as they were. Your day is handled with care from the moment you inquire to the moment your final gallery is delivered.

Film is magic - and your day deserves magic. I offer an optional blend of digital and film photography, for couples who want to elevate their galleries with something old and something new. Film captures how the day felt, not simply how it looked.

As an artist, traveling allows me to gain new perspectives, and nothing gets my creativity going like a new place to explore. I am a seasoned traveler and am on a plane dozens of times a year, which I am so grateful to be able to say!
I do travel for both elopements and weddings, and do offer couples sessions whenever I am in a new area. Travel prices vary from place to place and project to project, so inquire about your location directly to get a more exact quote. I do offer large discounts or the occasional waived travel fee if your project happens to take place at one of my bucket list locations!

lock in your date
In order to lock in your date, I require a 50% deposit and a signed contract. I only take 2-3 weddings/elopements per month depending on their size and workload, so it’s best not to wait and get your date locked in as soon as you’re able! I do not hold dates. I accept credit & debit cards and offer 5% off for cash payments.
The planning begins
Once you’re booked that’s when all the real fun begins! I’ll send you my wedding planning guide that will be helpful for your process. Most of the photography planning happens in the last month or two before the wedding. All of my packages include unlimited planning calls and assistance, so we’ll book and plan at your personal leisure.
